IRDA 10-YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN (2026–2035)

IRDA 10-Year Strategic Plan (2026–2035) presents a bold and forward-looking roadmap to position IRDA as a nationally recognized and globally connected leader in development innovation. Structured across three transformative phases, the strategy focuses on building strong institutional foundations, scaling impactful programs across northern Bangladesh, and advancing sustainable solutions through social enterprises, skill development, research, and innovation. By investing in people, partnerships, and systems, IRDA aims to empower over 100,000 individuals (direct beneficiaries), strengthen youth and women’s leadership, and establish dynamic platforms such as the IRDA Center for Innovation and Learning (CIL) and the IRDA Research Center (IRC). This strategic journey reflects IRDA’s commitment to evidence-based, community-driven development and its ambition to contribute meaningfully to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and Bangladesh’s long-term vision.

Our Strategy: Three Transformative Phases

Phase I

2026–2028: Foundation & Piloting

Complete all legal registrations, build institutional capacity, governance systems, and focus on piloting projects, community-based initiatives, and social enterprises that reflect our vision and mission. Establish “IRDA Center for Innovation and Learning (IRDA-CIL)” and “IRDA Research Center (IRC)”.

Phase II

2029–2031: Scaling & Partnerships

Scale up successful models across multiple districts in northern Bangladesh, enhance partnerships with government, private sector and international development agencies, develop as a leading regional NGO, and advance social enterprises for organizational funding sustainability.

Phase III

2032–2035: Impact & Leadership

Consolidate IRDA’s impact, institutionalize sustainability mechanisms and social enterprises, and position the organization as a leading regional actor in development sector, community empowerment and rural transformation. “IRDA-CIL” and “IRC” will be hubs of knowledge and innovation at regional & national levels.

Strategic Legacy (Beyond 2035)

By 2035, IRDA will emerge as a nationally recognized, regionally rooted, and globally connected organization, known for its:

1

Innovative, community-led development models.

2

Sustainable & transparent financial and organizational systems.

3

Youth and women-centered empowerment approaches.

4

We aim to position IRDA as a key partner in achieving the SDGs and beyond, aligned with Bangladesh’s long-term development vision.
