Organizational Governance: General Council Executive Committee and the Executive Director will be the integral part of the Organizational Governance as per the constitution. The governance structure of IRDA shall comprise the General Council (GC), Executive Committee (EC), Executive Director (ED), Core Management Team (CMT), Senior Management Team (SMT), Project Management Team (PMT), and designated Focal Persons, in accoRDAnce with Section 8 and Sub-section 8.1 of the IRDA Constitution.
The Executive Director (ED): The Executive Director serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the organization and is responsible for overall strategic leadership and day-to-day management. The Executive Director is accountable for implementing the policies, resolutions, and decisions of the Executive Committee and the General Council, and acts as the principal liaison between the governing bodies and the staff of IRDA.
Core Management Team (CMT): The CMT shall consist of the Executive Director, Directors of core departments, and selected senior officials as required as per the constitution.
Senior Management Team (SMT): The SMT shall include the Executive Director, Directors, and all program/project management-level personnel, as outlined in the Constitution.
Project Management Team (PMT): The PMT shall comprise Senior Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and field-level management staff, as outlined in the Constitution.
Focal Persons: There will be Focal Person from different thematic issues and specific programmatic area or project to represent as contact person from the organization.
